We are proud of the heritage and history entailed in the school’s location in the original Bishop’s Palace - that celebrates its 800th Anniversary in 2018. We believe that the beauty and heritage of the surroundings in which we work and play have a positive and enduring impact on all the children who are educated here. This however comes with a cost! Upgrading our ancient facilities to meet 21st century expectations for educating our children is a challenge and can not be done without the help of friends and supporters of our school.

Past gifts have benefitted the following endowments:

- School Development Fund: a variety of different project to enhance the facilities such as covers for the swimming pool, etc
- Headmaster’s Fund: to be spent at the Head Master’s discretion

Without the support of scholarships many talented children would not be able to benefit from the unique start in life that Salisbury Cathedral School has given to so many past and current pupils.  Donations intended to provide academic and sports scholarships to pupils at the Cathedral School are earmarked for our Scholarship Fund.

Music and Choristers

Music is at the heart of our school, and two specific funds exist to encourage and enable talented musicians to participate in the enriching opportunities offered at our school and cathedral.

The Windsor Prize Fund and Fitzgerald Scholarship Trust, amongst others, provide annual prizes and scholarships for musical ability, both for choristers and non-choristers.
