Year 7 - Corfe Castle

What a fine day to explore an old ruin! On Monday Year 7 headed south to the Isle of Purbeck to study the remains of Corfe Castle and to do a brief land use survey of the town. An early lunch, azure sky and spring sunshine set the scene for a most enjoyable and instructive day; passing steam train adding to the feeling of a brief respite from the present day. After worksheets, pies and ice cream, in that order, a happily tired group of pupils and staff returned satisfied that a good day had been had by all. Thanks go to Mrs Way for organising the day, Mr Reynolds and Mr Stewart for ably assisting, and to the pupils for their excellent company
