Christmas Fun in the Boarding House

During the last couple of weeks of term the boarders have been very busy getting into the Christmas spirit.

Our Christmas Elf arrived on December 1st and has been up to mischief and causing chaos throughout the house! Following tradition, St Nick (Sinterklass) crept into the boarding house on the eve of the 6th and filled the children's shoes with goodies.

We have been ice skating at the Salisbury Christmas market, and had a wonderful night at Longleat Festival of Light. We all danced around the massive tree singing carols while it “snowed” on us.

We have done lots of cooking, from gingerbread houses to cakes and Christmas cookies which we ate at our Christmas party. All the dorms have been decorated and, at our party, Carvel and Daniels dorms were announced as the winners.

Our winning 'brilliant boarders' were awarded with supper out at Noodle Camp. The boarders were also lucky to meet G4 who visited the school to rehearse ahead of their concert in the Cathedral.

We say a sad goodbye to Beltran and Beatriz, who have been wonderful boarders, as they head back home to Spain at the end of term.
