How to give
Thank you for visiting our How to Give page which details the various options to donate to support SCS.
Thank you for being a wonderful, nurturing, school where our children have thrived.
We are a small school without significant endowments or other established funding to rely on aside from fee income. So, in order to remain competitive, we are reliant on the generosity of our wider community to develop our school and its role as an educational charity. Please be assured any donation you are able to make will be both gratefully received and thoughtfully spent. Funds raised contribute towards the SCS Capital Campaign, SCS Bursaries and Partnership Projects. If you would like to support a particular one of these three projects, please advise the Bursar when you make your donation. Otherwise, rest assured we will allocate the funds according to the school’s priorities at the time of your kind support.
Please remember SCS is a separate charity from Salisbury Cathedral and any donations to the school must be made directly: Salisbury Cathedral School, charity number 1093554. We do not receive any funds from donations made to Salisbury Cathedral.
It is quick and easy to donate via our Just Giving page, just click the link here and support us at the level you can afford.
Salisbury Cathedral School is a registered charity, number 1093554, and registered for gift aid meaning UK taxpayers can increase the value of donations by 25% at no further personal cost. Simply download and complete the Gift Aid declaration form to enable the school to reclaim basic rate tax on your gift. Download our gift aid form by clicking the link.
You can easily donate to SCS by bank transfer. All details are on our gift aid form, see link below. Please remember to include gift aid if you can and do inform us if you have a particular request regarding how your donation is spent by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org
Choosing to make a regular donation to the continued work of SCS is easy and always greatly appreciated as it enables our development team to better plan for the future. Regular giving, at the level you can afford, is easy via standing order and we can claim gift aid on every payment received. Please find standing order information on our gift aid form.
Payroll Giving is a tax-efficient, hassle-free method of supporting SCS through your pension or payroll via your employer. For example, a gift of £100 costs the donor £78 after tax relief, or just £60 for a higher rate tax payer. Your payroll or HR department will provide you with details where applicable. Simply inform your company, or accountant, that you want to donate to SCS and they can ensure your donation is taken before any tax is deducted.
Many employers offer a matched giving scheme where they match, or sometimes double, your donation. Please check with your HR department to see if your company offers such a scheme.
