“It is always a pleasure to warmly welcome former pupils and staff, and their families, back to SCS. No matter where you live or how often you visit, you are all in our hearts and part of our school.”
Sally Moulton, Head.
Everyone who has attended Salisbury Cathedral School is warmly welcomed into the SCSA. Members enjoy a lifelong connection with our school via regular newsletters, events and an ongoing open invitation to visit us in Salisbury.
The SCSA Newsletter, distributed by email, includes a letter from our Head Master, school news – past and present – and details of forthcoming events as well as alumni news. If you would like to receive a copy you can sign up here.
We try and organise as many opportunities to share our school campus with previous staff and pupils as possible and we also appreciate your suggestions. Whether you’d just like to look around and enjoy your memories, attend an Evensong, meet with friends or perhaps share your knowledge with current students, please contact alumni@salisburycathedralschool.com and we can make it happen. We hope to see you soon!

A brief history of the SCSA
Formerly the ‘Salisbury Cathedral Old Choristers’ Association’, the SCSA’s earliest known reunion was hosted in 1818. Back in this year, on a Friday night, the gentlemen who were educated at the school in Wren Hall – in the Close – dined together at the White Hart Inn (now the White Hart Hotel). The next recorded reunion was on 4 August 1890. On this day the reunion festival extended to a whole day and the voices of former choristers brought extra depth to the music at Evensong. The next notable date was 1911 when the current ‘Salisbury Cathedral School Association’ name was adopted and all past pupils, not only choristers, were invited to join.
Today every pupil is invited to join, and your ideas for reunion activities are actively sought, and membership of the SCSA confers many benefits including the knowledge you will continue to be part of one of the oldest educational institutions in the world. The SCSA regularly supports the school on behalf of members by annual donations to the Head Master’s fund for school improvements, sponsoring school prizes and getting behind school appeals.
