Upper Prep's Knowledge Night Enrichment Programme with Jason Lovering

Jason Lovering, founder of the environmental company Five Rivers, gave a fascinating insight into jobs in his sector as part of the Upper Prep's Knowledge Night Enrichment Programme. Jason emphasised the demand for highly creative, passionate people and predicts that technology will continue to revolutionise today's jobs. Many of the audience were delighted to hear his opinion that skills of gaming will even compliment those they practise in school! The Upper Prep posed some excellent questions ranging from the construction of HS2 to the hot topic of 'green washing'. Such talks stretch our thinking, giving the children an invaluable opportunity to hear about different careers, stories and advice from a multitude of backgrounds.
