Pre-Prep Garden Party and 40th Anniversary Celebration

Saturday’s sunshine set the scene for a joyful celebration as we welcomed families and alumni to our Pre-Prep Garden Party, held to mark the 40th anniversary of the Pre-Prep’s opening. With over 100 alumni in attendance and many of our current Pre-Prep families joining us, the event was a wonderful mix of past and present.

The children delighted their audience with singing, dancing and recorder playing, all performed with confidence and joy. Dressed as insects, bugs, sunshine and rainbows, they filled the stage with colour and smiles — a joyful testament to their love of the creative arts. The hard work of the Pre-Prep team, Mrs Davis and Miss Lamb was evident throughout the afternoon.

A particularly special moment came as Penelope, our very first two-year-old Nursery pupil, took to the stage with infectious energy, dancing freely across Mr Heil’s beautifully prepared dance set. In a lovely tribute to her and the beginning of our new two-year-old provision, we planted a 'Penelope Rose' in the Pre-Prep paddock to mark this exciting new chapter.

It was a day full of warmth, community and celebration — a perfect reflection of everything our Pre-Prep embodies.
