The school was alive with the sound of the organ from drop off until pick up today. Many organists, of all levels and ages, climbed up the ancient stone stairs to the organ loft to take a turn in our very first Organathon! Every pupil visited the school chapel, the youngest listening to a special age-appropriate repertoire while the older ones had opportunity to play. The event was kindly sponsored by the Salisbury Specsavers Hearing department who we'd like to thank for their support. Big thanks also for our other performers Martin Cooke, Sam Bristow, Chris Too, David Halls, John Challenger, Benjamin Baker and Peter Lane for joining in. It has been so much fun and all for a worthy cause.
We are so grateful to everyone who has sponsored their son or daughter to take part. Every penny raised goes towards the Pipe Deams appeal to fund necessary repairs to the organ and new organ scholarships for Upper Prep Pupils. If you haven't returned your sponsorship form yet, please could you hand it in before half term.
Thank you!
