Last week SCS was buzzing with excitement, as it was time for the long-awaited performances of Matilda Jr by Years 5 and 6. Over the course of four packed performances, pupils filled the BSR with laughter and moved audiences to tears, through their outstanding acting, singing and choreography. The BSR was transformed into a whole host of settings from the Wormwood family home to the classrooms of Crunchem Hall School, complete with professional staging and lighting. Huge congratulations to all pupils in Years 5 and 6, whose energy and enthusiasm lit up the stage, as well as Miss Wernham, Mr Cannon and Miss Lamb.
