From Speedy Snozcumbers to Fizzy Cola Bottles: A Triathlon to Remember!

Last weekend, over 70 of our students proudly took part in the Knight Frank Schools Triathlon, the UK’s largest sporting fundraising event for children aged 7 to 13. Organised by the charity Restless Development, this inspiring event encourages young participants to form teams of four, choose creative team names, and complete a relay-style triathlon comprising swimming, cycling, and running. Some of our students’ imaginative team names included ‘The Speedy Snozcumbers’ and ‘The Fizzy Cola Bottles’—a brilliant reflection of their enthusiasm and team spirit.

Our children demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm, determination, and teamwork throughout the event. Participating in such activities not only promotes physical health but also fosters essential life skills. Engagement in team sports has been shown to enhance social skills, build self-confidence, and develop leadership abilities in children.

We are incredibly proud of our students for their commitment and collaborative spirit. Events like the Knight Frank Schools Triathlon provide invaluable opportunities for young people to grow, both individually and as part of a team, while contributing to meaningful causes.
