Chemical Reactions

Year 7 have been learning about chemical reactions and have recently been investigating thermal decomposition of carbonates. They seem to have really enjoyed this topic as they love taking the responsibility to carry out practical work. In this topic we have also looked at combustion - the pupils were desperate to try the infamous hand of fire experiment!
