Maintenance Technician

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated Maintenance Technician to support the Head of Maintenance with the supervision, maintenance and development of the school’s estates and buildings. The successful candidate will ensure that high standards of safety and presentation are maintained at all times and work in close cooperation with other members of the maintenance team. Competitive salary and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Job Description

Pre-Prep Teaching Assistant

We are seeking to appoint one or two dynamic and inspirational Teaching Assistants to join our flourishing Pre-Prep department. Salary £11.50 to £12.50 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

The successful candidate will have
a sense of fun, energy, imagination, empathy and patience;
the ability to create an exciting and encouraging learning environment for children;
a flexible and hard working approach;
an understanding of children's physical, social and emotional development.

An opportunity has arisen in our Pre-Prep department where we are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Teaching Assistant to join us as soon as possible. This could be a very full time role Monday to Friday from 7:30am – 6:15pm. Alternatively two part time positions Monday to Friday the first covering the hours 7:30am to 1:15pm and the second 1:15pm to 6:15pm.

Job Description

School Governor

We want to appoint between two and four School Governors with specific expertise and experience to join our dedicated Board of Governors.  The school also wants to appoint a permanent Chair of Governors.

Governor Role Specification

Teacher of Singing

We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic singing teacher to join our flourishing and dynamic department, teaching pupils aged 6 to 13, starting in January 2023. There may also be an opportunity to teach music theory.

Please note that this is not an employed position: Salisbury Cathedral School provides premises to the visiting music teacher as self-employed contractors for the provision of tuition services to the parents/guardians of pupils.

Closing date Monday 31st October 2022 at midday with interviews on Monday 7th or 9th November 2022.
