These fees cover the normal cost of a pupil's education. Extras are charged for examination fees, private individual tuition, field courses, trips, theatre tickets, holiday trips, social events and consumables used by boarders.

Armed Forces
Salisbury Cathedral School is on the approved list of schools for families who receive the Forces' Boarding Schools Allowance - Continuity of Education Allowance (CEA). We recognize the particular pressures placed on Service personnel and their families due to the difficult nature of their work, the requirement for family mobility and the long periods of parental deployment.
Maintaining a stable educational platform for Service children is one of Salisbury Cathedral School’s goals, recognising that Service children invariably have a great deal of wider experience that can further enrich our school community.
Salisbury Cathedral School offers an HM Armed Forces discount of 15% off the day and boarding fee to all serving military personnel.
The School is fully committed to providing support to our Armed Forces families in the provision of the very best educational and pastoral care to Service children.

Sibling Discount
Salisbury Cathedral School offer a 5% sibling discount to any 2nd or subsequent children from the same family (NB this cannot be used in conjunction with military discount).
Whole School Terms and Conditions
In accordance with the School's Terms and Conditions, fees and extras invoiced are payable in full on or before the first day of term.
On leaving, a full term's notice must be given in writing to the Head in all circumstances or fees will be charged in lieu of notice (as per our Terms and Conditions available on our website).
Many school clubs are free of charge. Costs of chargeable activities are published Termly. Most externally run clubs are invoiced directly to parents.
Due to the popularity of boarding, if you require flexi/casual boarding then please book well in advance. In the event of any nights not being required, the charge is non-refundable.
Music lessons are invoiced by peripatetic teachers direct to parents. Charges are published on the instrumental music request form and in ‘Music at Salisbury Cathedral School – A Guide for Parents’.
If specific learning support is required in the classroom, a terms notice of the charge will be given in writing and charged in arrears.
A limited number of bursaries are available on a Means Tested Basis. Please see the school website or ask the Finance department for a copy of the policy by emailing finance@salisburycathedralschool.com

Fees Assistance
Bursaries are awarded following completion of a means test form, and awards are reassessed on an annual basis.
Parents wishing to consider applying for a bursary should contact the Finance Manager.
Choristerships are offered by the Chapter of Salisbury Cathedral and are awarded after successful completion of a voice trial, usually when a child is in Years 3 or 4. Voice trials are held each January and February.
