Prep at Salisbury Cathedral School
Prep plays a very important part in a child’s educational development. It reinforces learning, helps children to build effective working strategies and can form part of a successful dialogue between teachers and parents. Prep is carefully set by staff, taking account of children’s ages and abilities.
We do, however, recognise the value of play and free time in a child’s growth and development. Many of our pupils lead very busy lives and we feel that learning to prioritise and juggle commitments is an important skill to learn for the future.
