Chapel
Our Christian faith is at the very heart of our community life. We have a Chapel service for each part of the school once a week and a whole school assembly on Mondays and Fridays. The Friday service takes place in the Cathedral and is often attended by a strong gathering of parents.

As Chaplain I really want the children to "catch" God - and then stay firmly caught! Our services can vary from very peaceful and meditative moments to wild and exciting experiences filled with bubbles and balloons! All spiritual experience is both valuable and valued from the very informal to our more formal termly Eucharists in the Cathedral and early morning Eucharists in the Chapel. We are a Eucharistic community and great importance is placed on our confirmation classes which lead to a Diocesan Confirmation service in May in the Cathedral - most of our Years 7 and 8 have been confirmed so they find these Eucharists very moving. All that said we hope to have a rather light religious touch and it is something that is part and parcel of our life in school. Questions, doubts and arguments are all welcomed especially if the questioner then finds themselves "caught" by God!
