Study
Salisbury Cathedral School treats all children as individuals encouraging them to reach their full potential and offering support where needed. In a small school, where every child is known well, that level of personal attention is possible and ensures that each child’s progress is managed through the years that the children are in our care. We provide depth and breadth of education through an appropriate, broad and challenging curriculum which encourages all round intellectual, emotional, social, physical and spiritual growth and positive relations between pupils, teachers and parents.
Regular assessment is built into our planning so that children’s progress can be tracked through the school and targets and aspirations can be met. We have high expectations and we motivate children to want to succeed.

The majority of pupils are prepared for Common Entrance and scholarship examinations in Year 8 so that they can progress to an appropriately high calibre senior school. Some children move on to the grammar schools and we also offer preparation for this. The recent track record for grammar school entry has been impressive.
