How to give

Thank you for considering a donation. Every gift is appreciated and matters.

Gift Aid

Salisbury Cathedral School is a registered charity. Taxpayers can increase the value of donations through Gift Aid, which allows us to reclaim basic rate tax on your gift. Our registered charity number is 1093554.  Simply download and complete the Gift Aid declaration form to enable the school to reclaim basic rate tax on your gift.

You can find more information on the Gift Aid scheme on the HM Revenue & Customs website at www.hmrc.gov.uk

Regular Giving

Regular giving is a convenient way to contribute to essential building and programme resources and signals your support for the work we do. We are grateful for gifts of any size.

Payroll Giving

You can donate to us in a tax efficient, trouble-free way by giving through your pension or payroll with your employer’s payroll giving scheme. For example, a gift of £100 costs the donor £78 after tax relief, or £60 if for a higher rate taxpayer. Your payroll or HR department will provide you with details where applicable. Simply let your employer know that you would like to donate to us and your donation is taken before tax deduction.

Matched Giving

Many employers offer a matched giving scheme where they match your donation. Check with your HR department to find out if your company offers such a scheme.

Music and Choristers

Music is at the heart of our school, and two specific funds exist to encourage and enable talented musicians to participate in the enriching opportunities offered at our school and cathedral.

The  Windsor Prize Fund and Fitzgerald Scholarship Trust, amongst others, provide annual prizes and scholarships for musical ability, both for choristers and non-choristers.
