Year 7 Camping Trip to the Isle of Purbeck
The Science / Geography field trip to Purbeck this year was shaped by a number of 'bests'. Whilst in Purbeck we much enjoyed our burgers, sausages and bacon from Bradle farm, where we were camping, and it turns out that Bradle Farm has just won the prize for Best Meat Producer in Dorset. Whilst we were in Swanage we enjoyed some fine chocolates from Chococo and it transpired that the chocolates had won a Good Taste award the very day we were there. We also enjoyed a very fine sunset and some of the bluest sea at Kimmeridge I have ever seen. The academic studies went well and there is much to learn from this remarkable World Heritage Coastline, but I think that the food, the views and the good company will be what we all remember.
