Year 1 Visit Farmer Giles
The pupils from Year 1 went on a trip to Farmer Giles in order to find out more about ‘changes’ in animals and nature. The children looked at and compared many baby animals with their mothers to see how they would grow and change. They saw piglets, chicks and bottle fed baby lambs, whilst walking around the farm the children collected signs of Autumn. The highlight of the trip was the tractor ride around the farm to feed the fish, as this doubled up as an exciting water ride after the previous nights heavy downpour.
