Trussell Trust Shoe Boxes
The children were delighted to welcome staff from the Trussell Trust and their colleague Mimi from Bulgaria to their special shoe box assembly. The children had managed to fill an incredible 200 shoe boxes which they made into the shape of a miniature cathedral. The school chaplain, The Rev Jenny Taylor, conducted a lively and animated assembly all about the shoeboxes and then blessed the boxes before they were sent on their way to Bulgaria.
