Trussell Trust Shoe Box Appeal

The Trussell Trust invited all the children to bring in goodie filled shoe boxes to send to the orphanages and refugees in Bulgaria for Christmas. The generosity of all the families was outstanding and we were thrilled to be able to give the Trussell Trust a total of 193 shoe boxes. The school chaplain, the Reverend Jenny Taylor was very pleased to make the regular Friday cathedral assembly into a very special event by lining all 193 shoe boxes up through the knave of the cathedral, all the boxes were then blessed before they were loaded up into the Trussell Trust van to begin their journey to Bulgaria.
