Sports Day 2010
We were fortunate once again to have fine and sunny weather for Sports Day. The children from the Pre-Prep had a lovely morning competing in races which utilised topics they have been studying this term and included dressing up and working as a team to build monuments. They also did regular running races and finished with a huge relay race which involved the whole of Pre-Prep. The afternoon carried on with great weather, the Friends set up their Pimms tent and Mrs Pickett laid out a fabulous afternoon tea. The pupils enjoyed the friendly rivallary between the houses as Years 3-8 started their racing. The serious running really hit when the gap students and games staff competed in the relay as well! Braybrooke emerged as overall Sports Day Champions on the day. Our grateful thanks go to James Vince, Hampshire and England U21 Cricketer, for coming along to hand out the prizes.
