Sponsored Run in aid of relief for Haiti

Charlie Balshaw in Year 4 was so upset by the dreadful news of the earthquake in Haiti, that he decided to take matters into his own hands and raise as much money as he could to help the people over there who are suffering so badly. Charlie is a keen runner and he decided to organise a sponsored charity run in the grounds of the Cathedral School. Fortunately the weather was kind and approximately 30 children ran until they dropped, to help Charlie raise a fantastic sum of £1,000. SKY TV have agreed to match the amount Charlie raises himself, so he is looking forward to presenting a cheque to one of the Aid charities for in excess of £2,000. What a great achievement Charlie - well done!
