Rugby Teams coached by Former England Rugby Player
Our Colts and 1st team squads enjoyed a fantastic day of pre-season coaching during the last week of the holidays, taking part in sessions presented by two hugely experienced sportsmen.
Nick Lowe, our school judo coach, started the day with a high-energy session on contact and tackling which, boys being boys, everybody thoroughly enjoyed! After lunch we were thrilled to have Tim Stimpson (former Leicester, England and British Lions full-back) leading some very positive sessions on handling, movement and communication. We all thoroughly enjoyed meeting Tim and benefitting from both his wealth of experience and his very evident passion for the game of rugby.
The whole day provided an excellent foundation for our rugby training this term and we hope the experience will go a long way towards making this a successful season.
