Pupils watch Blue Peter Presenter scale the Spire
The pupils were all delighted today to be given the opportunity to watch Blue Peter presenter, Helen Skelton, scale the dizzy heights of the cathedral spire to change the bulb in the aircraft warning light at the very top of the spire. Helen was being filmed for a future episode of Blue Peter, so the climb took over 2 hours, this gave Mr Stewart and the photography club plenty of time to take lots of pictures!
