Pre-Prep invite Grandparents for Tea
The Pre-Prep children invited their grandparents to a tea party in the gym. The grandparents first went into the children's classrooms to see their work and pictures and played games. Everyone then moved into the gym and the children displayed paintings of their grandparents and spoke individually about what they like to do with them. Year 2 (Busy Bees) performed a choral poem, the whole of Pre-Prep sang the birthday song to Mr Rea, Lizzie's Grandpa. They also sang Puff the Magic Dragon, We Thank You God for Grannies and Lord of the Harvest. The grandparents then enjoyed a delicious tea provided by Mrs Pickett and her team and they all agreed that the whole afternoon was a wonderful success.
