Colourful Trussell Trust Shoeboxes
On Friday 18th November Cathedral School children went to their Friday morning worship in the cathedral knowing things were a bit different! There was a colourful path beginning at the spire crossing and growing every minute - it was Shoe Box time again! Eventually the path led to the high altar and we counted at least 150 boxes! The Chaplain, the Revd Jenny Taylor described the pathway being made of boxes of smiles and love which will travel to Bulgaria with the Trussell Trust taking those smiles and love with them! The Trussell Trust van arrived and the boxes were loaded on (by very hard-working Chapel Prefects!) to begin their journey to Bulgaria full of love, smiles and blessings!
