Blue Peter drop into Toy Assembly
We were delighted to welcome Blue Peter presenter, Helen Skelton to our cathedral assembly last Friday. As it was a special Toy Animal Day assembly to celebrate St Francis, all the children bought along their favourite cuddly toy, Lukas very kindly lent Helen his giant teddy for the duration of the service. Mrs Taylor, invited Helen to talk to the children, she thanked them for their fabulous support as she completed her terrifying climb up the spire! After the assembly she took time to chat to the children and sign autographs, the children said “she was so friendly and looks just like she does on television!”
