Archery Match
A delightfully warm and sunny afternoon was enjoyed by Sandroyd School in our lovely grounds as they came to our annual Archery match. Our team shot very enthusiastically after a maximum of four previous coaching sessions this term. Many had not experienced this rather gentle activity before. We had good support from parents of both schools, and this happy social occasion was concluded with a welcome tea in the warm sunshine. We are grateful to our mutual coach James MacDonald for training and enthusing us, and enabling our two schools to meet together in this way. We won't mention the score.....!
