These fees cover the normal cost of a pupil’s education. Extras are charged for examination fees, private individual tuition, field courses, trips, theatre tickets, holiday trips, social events and consumables used by boarders.
Nursery fees
All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to Free Entitlement Funding (FEE). This pays for up to five 2 ½ hour sessions per week. The value of the grant for 2009/10 is £8.83 / session. For all eligible children this funding is credited to fee bills retrospectively.

The school offers certain insurance schemes which are included on fee invoices. Full details are available from the Bursar’s office.
The cost of Saturday morning activities varies. Activities and their respective costs are published termly.
Music lessons are invoiced by peripatetic teachers direct to parents. Current charges are £207.00 for 10 x 40-minute lessons.
The school offers parents the opportunity to pay fees monthly through the Holmwoods Term Time Only scheme. Details are available from the Bursar’s office. Fees and extras invoiced by the school are payable in full by the first day of term.
