Houses
Fun and Belonging...
Each pupil belongs to a house which is named after houses within the Cathedral Close: Arundells, Braybrooke, Kings and Wren.
During the year, the pupils are awarded stars for good effort in the classroom or setting a positive example to their peers. The star totals for each pupil contribute to the overall total for each House.

There are inter-house events each term which are competitive and great fun. We have singing competitions, sporting activities, general knowledge quizzes and other creative events which involve pupils and staff.
The inter house sports competition is being heightened this year with the introduction of a greater range of sports that are not traditionally played at the school. These new activities will see inter house competition grow and along with the traditional sports played we should have some very closely contested events throughout the year. Each event will be worth a certain number of points and these will be correlated over the terms to leave us with an eventual winner at the end of the summer term. This change in the inter house sports competition looks to introduce the pupils to a wider range of sports and get them all involved more frequently in the competitive atmosphere that playing for a team allows.
This combined with the house activity in other areas of the school will provide enjoyment and some memorable moments for all our students.
