About the school
The school seeks to maintain and build upon the traditions of academic achievement, musical excellence and spiritual enrichment which have developed over its 900 year history. It aims to provide a rounded and fulfilling educational experience, through which confidence is gained and a love of learning is instilled.
Whilst the school is famous for its music pupils do not have to be musical to thrive and excel here. High academic expectations and wide-ranging extra-curricular opportunities in music, sport, art and drama encourage pupils to develop skills and talents to a very high standard.
